Safeguarding Digital Medical Resources: Analysis Of Preservation Methods In Maharashtra's Health Science Academic Libraries

Author(s):  Dr. Trupti Aniruddha Tulsankar

Abstract: Health science libraries preserve their materials so important health information stays accessible over time. Digital preservation means regularly updating files and storage systems so nothing gets lost as technology changes. Libraries use repositories to organize digital resources like e-books and journals. They also use weeding and deaccessioning to remove outdated items, keeping the collection useful and easy to navigate.
