Abstract: Bibliotherapy, the therapeutic use of literature, is recognized as an effective intervention for promoting emotional, cognitive and academic development across the lifespan. This descriptive qualitative study analyzes bibliotherapy models, age-specific book selection, reading practices, and the role of facilitators, particularly academic librarians, in supporting student well-being and learning outcomes. Drawing on peer-reviewed literature, institutional guides and curated bibliotherapy resources, the study identifies developmental;, creative, prescriptive and crisis-oriented bibliotherapy models and examines their application across children, adolescents and adults.....
