Author(s): Dr. A. Perumal & Hema N
Abstract: The rapid proliferation of digital technologies has necessitated the widespread adoption of intelligent electronic systems across virtually all expanding industries. Academic and public libraries are no exception. They've undergone systematic, significant transformation by integrating automation, digitization, and content management solutions, all aimed at delivering enhanced, value-added services to their users. Despite this growing trend, a comprehensive understanding of the specific software ecosystems adopted by library and information centers in urban contexts remains limited.
