Abstract: The rapid advancement of information and communication technologies has compelled academic libraries to adopt automation systems for efficient management of information resources. Library automation software plays a pivotal role in streamlining library operations, enhancing access to resources, and improving user satisfaction. Although numerous library management software packages are available in the market, academic libraries often select systems based on institutional requirements, affordability, and technical support. This study presents a comparative analysis of library automation software implemented in selected academic libraries of Shirpur City.
