Scientometric Analysis on the Assumption of Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Healthcare of Indian Perspectives

Abstract: Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a transformative technology in the Indian healthcare sector, contributing advanced solutions for effective analysis, treatment, telemedicine, healthcare organisation, and drug discovery. This study conducts a scientometric analysis of Artificial Intelligence applications in Indian healthcare research indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection database during the period 2016–2025. A total of 13,858 publications from 2,944 sources were analysed using Biblioshiny and Bibliometrix tools in RStudio to identify main research trends, productive authors, top institutions, prominent journals, collaborative countries, and keyword occurrences.
