Disaster Management Practices in General State Universities’ Libraries in Rajasthan: An Empirical Study

Abstract: Academic libraries face growing risks from natural and human-caused disasters, which require disaster management planning to become an essential part of library administrative work. The research investigates disaster management practices that general state universities' libraries in Rajasthan use for their preparedness and response, recovery and prevention activities. The research team used a standardized questionnaire to gather data from library professionals working at state university libraries throughout Rajasthan.
