Abstract: Academic libraries play a crucial role in supporting teaching, learning, and research activities in higher education institutions. With the rapid development of information and communication technologies, academic libraries have shifted from traditional print-based collections to hybrid systems that include both print and electronic resources. This study examines the utilization of print and electronic resources by users of selected private university libraries in Bengaluru. The main objective of the study is to analyze the extent of utilization of library resources and identify the factors influencing users’ preferences for print and electronic formats.
The study adopted a descriptive survey research design and followed a quantitative research approach. Primary data were collected using a structured questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale.
