Author(s): Dr. Sandhya Pagare
Abstract: Librarians in digital information fields need to pursue continuous education to acquire new skills and improve their library work. The research investigates how academic librarians in Maharashtra understand lifelong learning through five dimensions, including cognitive awareness, affective motivation, institutional support, perceived barriers, and behavioural participation in learning activities. The study employed a descriptive research design, with quantitative methods as its primary approach. The researchers collected data from 72 academic librarians working at colleges and universities across Maharashtra using a self-designed questionnaire distributed via the KoboToolbox online platform.
