Abstract - The availability and use of electronic and library information resources play a critical role in shaping research practices in higher education. This study investigates the utilization patterns of electronic and traditional library resources among research scholars at Periyar University and examines their impact on research scope, quality, and productivity. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire distributed to scholars across multiple disciplines, and analysed through descriptive and inferential statistical methods.
