Abstract - Nowadays, every single organization has to receive and handle visitors regularly. Ex e.g. businesses, schools, colleges, hospitals and other organizations. Traditional visitor management methods like pen, paper, sheets or manual printing have become ineffective and unsafe in the contemporary working environment. A visitor management system (VMS) is a safer, more reliable, and efficient system that has arisen to curb the increasing security issues. A Visitor Management System refers to a procedure of monitoring all people entering any library. The LIB-MAN is a very user-friendly system that is highly integrated and allows full computerisation of all the in-house operations of any type of library. Its modules offer it such a facility. Check-in and check-out in the visitor management system of the library is very easy through the MOPAC app installation in a mobile device and a free QR Code reader. This presentation will address the need to have Visitor Management Systems in the modern world, its benefits and the means of selecting the one that fits your requirements. We will outline effective visitor management system with the help of MOPAC in LIBMAN software of Master-soft ERP solutions.
