Mapping a Scholarly Footprint of Indian Council of Agricultural Research Institutions: A Decadal Bibliometric Review

Abstract - Agriculture is one of the main sources of the Indian economy, and 2/3 of the rural population is still dependent on agriculture for their livelihood (Chakrabarty et al., 2025). Indian Council of Agricultural Institutions campaigns for regular sustainable agriculture practices, facilitates the dissemination of innovations to farmers and stakeholders. ICAR contributions to scholarly publications significantly strengthen India’s global scholarly footprint in the agricultural and allied sectors. The present paper attempts to portray the scholarly footprints of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research Institutions during 2015-2024.
