AI Literacy Among Rural Undergraduates in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra: Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes Survey

Abstract - In the context of AI-driven information systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy which is very important, still has not been adequately addressed in rural India. The present study evaluated AI literacy levels among 560 students from different colleges in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra state. The research conducted a thorough assessment of students' knowledge, skills, ethical awareness, and their attitudes towards AI. A moderate overall level of AI literacy was found as the result of the study, with science stream learners being the top performers of all others in arts and commerce......
