Access and Use of Information Resources and Services in NAAC Accredited College Libraries in Karnataka

Abstract - The purpose of this study was to determine the use of information resources, services, awareness, accessibility, purpose, strategies and methods used by users in College libraries. During the NAAC visit to Colleges, the status of libraries improved regarding Physical and ICT infrastructure. This article also analyses whether college library users are seeking quality information, given that the teacher education program is highly rigorous and prepares quality teachers for society. The research viewpoint has shifted from print to electronic information resources.
