Abstract - This abstract highlights the dual role of AI in smart libraries: as a tool for technological advancement and as a catalyst for rethinking the social responsibilities of modern libraries. As libraries continue to transform into digital knowledge hubs and vibrant community engagement spaces, their success will depend on how effectively they align innovation with ethical responsibility, ensuring fair and inclusive access to information for all members of society.
In the continuous development of smart library systems, finding a balance between the advantages of AI and the need for moral standards and responsible data management continues to be a major challenge. The potential for libraries to function as essential knowledge centers and community engagement spaces while understanding the challenges of technological evaluation and ethical issues is highlighted by the role of AI in creating smart library systems.
