Abstract This paper conducts a bibliometric and infrastructural analysis of the registries of research data repositories (RDRs) situated in India, as cataloged by the Registry of Research Data Repositories (re3data.org) from 2012 through 2024. re3data.org, as the premier global, cross-disciplinary registry of research data repositories, cataloged over 3,000 research data repositories worldwide as of 2023.
