The study gives status of Library and information science research & importance of library science in India. Also gives account of Annals of library and Information studies, objectives & methodology in this study. Analyses papers into year wise distribution, length of articles, use of tables, graphs diagrams. Finds authorship pattern and calculates collaboration coefficients. Also finds out profile contributors, location of papers, subject wise distribution & State wise distribution.
